The basic components of the photographic image and cinematic form, camera, light, photosensitive material, time and projection is merged and expanded in a show of photogram and contact print 16mm films, still prints and film objects.

“The trace made by light on sensitive material is an image. A camera may have been involved, or it may not. The light may or may not have been focused by a lens… but because it is a photographic image, it is subject to the same procedures.  Most important: it is accessible to our sensibilities on precisely the same basis.” (extract from Hollis Frampton, ‘Some Propositions on Photography’, 1965, cited in Jenkins (ed.) 2009, p.7)
