Inspired by the African continent, David Greely applies contrasting methods and mediums to combine landscape, wildlife and characters into an energetic anthology bursting with vibrancy.
David Greely has lived in Thanet for 35 years and since retirement devotes much of his time to art and writing. His profession spanned forty years in the Graphics industry and latter years as art teacher at a local SEN school.
David never received supplementary art education but his work clearly endorses his ability as a self-taught artist. Though acquiring many commissions privately and commercially, advocates art is merely a way of living his life and by no means a way of making a living.
