Village in the Sky is a photographic exploration of Arlington House in Margate from within. The building is an iconic 1960’s tower block of brutalist design. The work is a study of the homes and communal spaces of Arlington. Local people living in the shadow of this 18 story building often have preconceived judgments of the residents and their home. The aim of this work is to create a dialogue between the residents and the wider community. The photographs will be accompanied by a self published newsprint.
Opening times are 27th July – 1st August, 10-5pm.
This exhibition will display photographic works of Arlington House, Margate.
