I Shed a Few Tears is the first solo show in Margate for Dawn Cole since 2010. Cole will be exhibiting a body of new prints that respond to the diary and archive of WW1 VAD Nurse Clarice Spratling.
Margate born Dawn Cole is an artist with a particular interest in printmaking. Cole works in response to archives. The works she produces are the product of extensive research and have a strong narrative content that explores the nature of memory and remembrance.
