Nine very different artists from the seas group are showing work over five days, with large and small-scale pieces including photography, sculpture, textiles, paintings and printmaking.
seas artists are centred around Deal, the show includes work by Susan Carlyle, Martin Cherry, Jim Foreman, Dominic Harper, Penny Jackson, Caroline Raffan, Trevor Summerfield, Kaye Walls and Mollie Winters. Their work is motivated by observation of the world around them, including music, dance, landscape, abandoned wartime sites, the human figure and the seas at their doorstep.
Gallery 1 at the Pie Factory is a mini group show, with pieces by all artists. There are also gift cards on sale here; galleries 2-4 have special displays by each artist.
Come along on Saturday 7th October from 1-4pm, when you can meet all the artists, talk to them, find out why they do what they do and eat cake.
