An exhibition by local artist, Paul Gadenne, of new work produced over last 18 months during the myriad versions of lockdown.
Paul Gadenne is a local artist, who is quite happy working in all 2D media, though he tends to work mainly in oil and watercolour. Paul teaches weekly art lessons to adult groups and subsequently has the wealth of accumulated knowledge and skills needed to teach a general art course at all levels. This background is evident in the varied subject matter and styles shown in his work, though his training as a Chartered Designer is apparent as he tends to lean more towards the manufactured world rather than the natural. Paul has appeared twice on Sky Arts, Landscape Artist of the Year and writes for the Artist magazine.
