As part of the Artists’ Open Houses 2013 running alongside the Canterbury Festival Pie Factory Margate is delighted to be taking part for the first time this year

Open Studios: on Saturday 26 October  the artists from our 5 studios will be opening up from 11-5pm – please pop in and visit them

Located on Broad Street in Margate Old Town, Pie Factory Margate is a well presented spacious gallery and exhibition venue for hire, newly refurbished to the highest standard.Our rates are competitive and discounts are available for bookings throughout January, February and March 2013.

Early 2013 is a key time to be showing exhibitions as high footfall is expected for the opening of Carl Andre, Rosa Barba & Turner’s Perspective (opening 1st Feb) and current Alex Katz exhibition (ends this Sunday) at Turner Contemporary nearby.

Rates previously at £250.00 per week are now £150.00 per week plus electricity.Don’t miss out on this special offer!

Latest News July 2012

The very exciting Metamorphose exhibition opens today from 10am-5pm in the main galleries! Metamorphose is a group show organised by 9 emerging artists from and will display various forms of mixed media from film, painting, print, sculpture and photography.

Also opening today in the Pop-Up Shop is Crafted Naturally. Artist Wendy James will be making and sewing work and will run informal workshops for anyone interested in trying out paper making or batik!

Water Cure exhibition opens on the 20 July and will hold a Late Night Opening from 11am-9pm and all day Drinks Reception on Saturday 21 July – great!

On Saturday 21 this month there will also be a skill sharing session in the Pop-Up Shop for Emily’s Weird Working’s where people can drop in daily and knit! Be a part of these create events at Pie Factory.
