About:
Karen a “Kentish Maid” with Kent in her soul. She has lived most of her adult life in her beloved Historic Medway Towns.
Always re-inventing her styles Karen has worked with watercolours, acrylics and oils over the last seven years.
Her adventurous spirit took her briefly to a life in Corfu where a number of commissioned works are hanging in some of her regular haunts.
Having a dedicated ‘fan club’ she also has works hanging in private collections in the UK.
Her work is an expression of emotions and her view of the world. “I see everything as colour and movement”, clearly reflected in her work.
The current collection of work has been inspired by her life living and painting on a historic ship moored on the River Medway and also by the birth of her first grandchild.
We hope you enjoy the vibrancy, movement and creative energy in the artwork that Karen has brings to Margate where she spent many happy childhood summers with her grandparents.
The exhibited pieces, all for sale, range in price from £90 to £400. Karen is also happy to discuss private commissions.
Enjoy…
