Join The Mayor of Margate on an Art & Wine Tour showcasing some of the finest galleries in the delightful Old Town of Margate.  See local and national talent exhibited in 4 exceptional art spaces, in an informal, relaxed setting with a glass of wine and some nibbles.

Margate’s Community Pharmacy works with people in the local area with learning disabilities to help create artistic works. It provides an environment designed to assist individuals to reach their artistic potential.The work produced by this project, supervised by a talented workforce is both interesting and visually engaging. The Community Pharmacy is pleased to accept donations for their works of art.

The Pie Factory Margate was once a pork butcher’s originally known as Knighton’sand is now a home for the creative community in Margate, South East Kent. The Pie Factory provides an inspiring gallery exhibition space, artist studios and a pop up shop, all for hire at competitive rates. Thevenue aims to create an exciting and vibrant space to visit and do business. They welcome any arts, crafts and media related event and are always open for new and engaging hires.  This is a great opportunity to look around the building and see the artist’s studios and creationsincluding the inspiring works of Yvonne Lyons and Julia Kerrison in their new exhibition ‘Sense of Change’ and some of the modern, funky collection of place mats designed by Jenny Duff.   www.piefactorymargate.co.uk

 Outside the Square Gallery is the largest commercial gallery in Kent and is dedicated to the presentation of the finest national and international artists, introducing exceptional contemporary art to established and emerging collectors.The gallery has 907 original exhibits constituting 94 committed artists from 21 different countries all over the world giving visitors access to individual pieces of original Art otherwise not available anywhere else in the UK.  Currently exhibits include works of Damien Hirst, Rob Hefferan (featuring the Margate Piazza in his Romantic Collection) and Christian Furr, the youngestperson to have painted the Queen at Buckingham Palace at 28 years old.www.outsidethesquaregallery.com
