Studio 5 is currently occupied by Gerry Doyle.
Gerry Doyle trained at Medway College of Art and Design. He undertook his 5 year apprenticeship with the renown ‘Prentice & Braham’ who specialised in goldsmithing and insignia. He has worked a freelance goldsmith since.
As an apprentice in goldsmithing he has ‘Freedom to the City of London’.
Gerry enjoys challenging commissions and making unusual objects out of usual materials. He has recently made a silver asthma inhaler case, ipod cover and beautiful exclusive high quality rings – all individually designed.
To date his specialisations include making insignia for Royal families throughout the world and notable service medals.
When not make beautiful artisan jewellery, Gerry can be found pursuing his passion for rugby or bobbing around in a boat in Broadstairs.
