Angela Rumble studied Fine Art to MA level at KIAD Canterbury. Since graduating in 1999 she has combined her art practice with her first vocation as a dentist. The two areas complement and balance each other. The dentistry frequently informs the art subject matter which frequently examines the doctor- patient relationship and how medicine can objectify an individual.
Since finding a studio in Margate she has taken inspiration from the surroundings, hence the images of the sea. The work combines oil painting with gouache and lino cut printing.
